For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!                 ~2 Corinthians 4:17 (NLT)

Do you have a problem that you can’t seem to work out? It tends to hang on and not go away!  Or do your problems tend to stack on top of each other? It could be a work situation, family members that can’t seem to get along, a lawsuit, a car that won’t cooperate, this list could go on and on. It is easy to dwell on the negatives of life, to get caught in the moment and not realize the opportunities that lay ahead.

Use this opportunity to draw closer to God. Take some quality time to talk to God and listen.  God is walking with you through this problem. He is waiting patiently in the wing to offer you a hand and help out. Call on Him let him teach you as you rely on Him. Ask Him to open your eyes to what you are not seeing in the situation.  Is He asking you to stand up, to have compassion, to be patient, to persevere, to be His hands & feet? Then put in to practice what God reveals to you. It won’t be easy at first, it will probably feel awkward. But soon it will finally click!  The more you rely on Him through this problem the easier it will become.

As a parent I sometimes like to think what God’s reaction to my behavior is.  I can think of my own delight when my son finally understands something we have been teaching him.  I want to jump for joy that our hard work has paid off. I can only imagine that God is rejoicing in Heaven!! Give God thanks as He is leading you through this.  As you praise him for your new found knowledge and wisdom your problem will have less of a hold on you. Turn these problems into a glory that will vastly outweigh them and last forever!!!
